Detroit Hip-Hop staple Guilty Simpson is set to release a new album sometime in the Spring of 2023 as final mixes are completed. This would be Simpson’s first new full-length offering since 2021’s EGO. The new offering finds the verbose lyricist taking new steps, continually challenging himself.
The new album is produced by New York denizen Uncommon Nasa, a well-versed artist in his own right, who has worked on recordings by Cannibal Ox, Masai Bey, and Gajah just to name a few, now moving behind the boards for Guilty Simpson. In anticipation of the release, Simpson shares the new single “Easy,” where Simpson makes it look easy, in this teaser to the expansive 12-track release to follow.
