After playing a series of overseas shows, Elvis Costello will continue his solo “Detour” tour in the U.S. with 12 shows across the Midwest and South, including Austin City Limits Live in Austin, TX, and Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium.
These critically acclaimed “Detour” shows have been Costello’s first performances following the publication of his best-selling 2015 memoir, “Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink” (Blue Rider Press/Penguin Random House).
This October, expect the same “disarmingly revealing” and “uproariously funny” (LA Times) performances as Costello plays his best known songs and selected favorites with just a piano and guitar, all in front of a giant television set projecting family photos, mysteries, mottos, and other mischief.
