The Daughters frontman Alexis Marshall has released his first solo offering in “Nature in Three Movements”(Sargent House). It’s a stand-alone single which is just one track off his forthcoming debut album (TBA in the coming months for an early 2021 release). Recorded at Machines with Magnets in Pawtucket, RI with the assistance of Jon Syverson (Daughters) and Evan Patterson (Jaye Jayle, Young Widows),  the song is a ferocious marriage of relentless percussive battery, dissonant guitar work, industrial throb, and Marshall’s signature invectives a la Junkyard-era Birthday Party grafted with early Einstürzende Neubauten.
