It’s 2019, almost four years since Ceschi Ramos released his last full-length album Broken Bone Ballads (Fake Four Inc.), but today he shares the new single, “Say No More.” The song itself rolls around acoustic instrumentation and rallies around Ceschi’s melodic voice, along with his backing harmonies. The emcee is more than just that, as he once again showcases his musicianship here, but of
The single is off the forthcoming Sad, Fat Luck which is expected to drop in April of this year. Once again, Ceschi teams up with producer Factor Chandelier on this album.
Of the song, Ceschi says, “When two of my closest comrades were arrested by the FBI & now face a 10-year mandatory minimum, I wrote the song “Say No More”. It is part of my series of agnostic gospel songs speaking on opiate deaths, imprisonment & that malleable clay of morality. It is a mantra throughout the final Ceschi trilogy.”
Also on the album are Child Actor (organ), The Pxrtals (violin), Lindsey Wright (backing vocals), and Factor Chandelier (beats).
