Beloved guitar-rock heroes Built to Spill have confirmed new dates for their February 2016 tour, which includes two shows at Slim’s in San Francisco and three at The Echo in Los Angeles. Tickets are available HERE.
Built to Spill have been touring in support of their current album Untethered Moon, which was released last April by Warner Bros. Records. Yet again, Doug Martsch and company have created a melodically rich song cycle that weaves memorable guitar textures with thoughtfully crafted lyrical passages open to the listener’s own interpretation.
Untethered Moon was produced by Martsch and Sam Coomes (from the band Quasi) and recorded entirely with Martsch playing all guitars along with new band members, Steve Gere (drums) and Jason Albertini (bass).
