Slated for release tomorrow on 4/20/18, Vienna electronic/experimental rock-pop outfit Hearts Hearts premieres its new album Goods/Gods, dropping on Tomlab. The pastiche of sounds included within the quartet’s musical output may take inspiration from left field pop production, not unlike musicians Bon Iver, Jamie XX, and Son Lux and the ilk, but what Hearts Hearts conjures is an identity all its own. Blending both electronic and acoustic instrumentation, the songs are skewed but addictive, off-kilter but entertaining and hypnotic. Prepare for Hearts Hearts to become your new favorite band.
The band: “We are excited to finally share our new album Goods / Gods. The songs were written in several excessive sessions in a little studio nearby Vienna, that offered the privacy and ease to work on our new musical vision. We widened our approach to disparate musical genres, combining different ideas to make the songs more captivating, inviting and energetic. A lot of hard work has gone into it over the last two years and we are really proud of the result!”
