Artist: Make Do and Mend
Album: End Measured Mile
Ah jeeze! There’s nothing good about this one. Much like label-mate Dave Hause, Make Do And Mend crack the whip to create one confidence booster after another. There’s really no other way to describe this. It’s a blend of hardcore and emotionally charged punk. Each track is very melodic and drives one to believe that the cinematic fat kid could run the length of the field to score the goal, outrunning all of the more agile, more athletically gifted kids in the process. Not since Joe Esposito’s “You’re The Best” have I felt so pumped. Cue the training montage. (Paper + Plastick)
