Dayton, Ohio high-octane punk band Red Hot Rebellion kicked off a Kickstarter campaign staring February 1 to allow people to pre-order the new Red Hot Rebellion comic book and concept album.
The proposed project is a full length, 28-page comic book AND 13-song album. The comic and album are two parts of the same story (see their Kickstarter page for details.).   Scrap/Seven Sisters artist, Chris Martin and colors by IDW colorist, Julie Wright, are also proposed.
According to the band, the project is expected to become a favorite of” fans of Venture Brothers, This Is Spinal Tap, and Metalocalypse.  This is a fast-paced, high-stakes adventure with a side of humor.”
