Lady Lamb the Beekeeper (aka 23 year-old Maine-bred, Brooklyn-based Aly Spaltro) released her debut full-length album, Ripely Pine, last week via Ba Da Bing Records. Presenting cinematic lyrics over complex structures with melodies running rampant, plus the intensity and confidence she portrays on stage, this debut album is a pure representation of Lady Lamb the Beekeeper. Following record release shows in New York, Boston and Portland, Lady Lamb (guitar/vocals) and band — labelmate Xenia Rubinos (keys), Marco Buccelli (drums), and TJ Metcalfe (bass) — will be touring the Midwest and Northeast in May.  Here are the dates:
