Los Angeles psych-rock lifers Tombstones In Their Eyes step into some beautiful wreckage with ‘You Never Have to Love Me’, a single that hovers between freefall and revelation, where survival means staring yourself down and realizing the fix starts from the inside out. Wrapped in a lush, color-drenched video by European visionary Francesca Bonci, this song is lifted from the group’s latest album Under Dark Skies.
The B-side “Everybody’s Dead” thrives on instinct rather than intention, letting subconscious fragments spill out in a way that feels both sincere and surreal. With a sound that’s bruised, luminous and immersive, carrying the weight of loss and resilience, frontman JOHN TREANOR co-produces with Paul Roessler (The Screamers, Nina Hagen, 45 Grave), who recorded and mixed these tracks at Kitten Robot Studios.
