Chat Pile Share “Frownland”

Oklahoma City noise rock quartet Chat Pile released their sophomore LP Cool World just shy of three weeks ago and now, the band is getting ready for leg one of their North American tour spanning October 31 through November 22.  The tour kicks off with two hometown shows in Oklahoma City then traverses the midwest into Canada, followed by a string of east coast shows.  The second leg of the tour runs February through March around Texas and along the west coast of the U.S. and Canada— check out all tour dates listed below.

Today, Chat Pile have shared a music video for Cool World single, “Frownland.”  Director Matthew Zagorski comments on the video treatment: “When I first heard this song, I heard despair, so I wanted the video to start off troubling. The main character laying there in the rubble of his old life, digging through the ruins of what used to be. I was dealing with extreme feelings of loneliness and not feeling worthy at the time of piecing together this video and it really bled into the narrative.”
