Song Premiere: Jewel Tones, "Unfortunately"

Los Angeles based psych pop project Jewel Tones is the product of happenstance. A nice studio in Echo Park is booked, the artist who booked it had bailed and the producer doesn’t want the time to go to waste. Calls are made and the session is salvaged; Jewel Tones has a demo and decides to continue working.

Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of premiering, “Unfortunately,” a single that represents the fruits of Jewel Tones’ labor. The lush, glimmering Beach Boys-esque undertones present here are sure to make this a standard on Summer playlists.
