What one can appreciate about the three-piece band Nallo is their penchant for being unpredictable. Within their songs lies chaos that includes crashing percussion, screaming riffs with delicate vocals. Grunge and punk influences can be wildly heard intermingling with a delivery that’s heavy on the power-pop spectrum. Nallo carries a powerful energy that lures you into their unpredictable world with arms wide open.
Nallo is set to release their new self-titled LP out November 22 on Chase Bliss Records. The opening single “Anger and Figureheads” offer up an awareness of the band’s mentality these days. Frontman Andrew Ranallo said that the song was written at a time when things were complicated on top of “trying to survive in the current American swirl of anger, mental unhealth, internet trolls, and violence.”
