The formation of Robin Alice happened to nothing more than an unexpected occurrence. While on the set of Pitch Perfect 3, actress Kelley Jakle and Jeff Hortillosa together began to start playing music during the downtime. The chemistry between them was instant; coming from different backgrounds only made it even more enticing to follow their instincts and explore. Yesterday, Robin Alice announced the release of their forthcoming EP Here and There (out June 14). In support of the news, the duo released their new single “Late Bloomer.”

The single is a successful introduction of Robin Alice to the masses; Jakle’s vocals soar triumphantly over Hortillosa’s transcending guitar riffs.
