Kansas City’s own Joshua Allen and Mark Lomas (collectively known as Various Blonde) simply won’t tolerate playing it safe when they are creating music.  Allowing exploration within themselves and using an arsenal of sound propel the results to be bombastic and mind-altering.  With a handful of releases out dating back to the duo’s start in 2008, there’s no telling where Various Blonde is headed musically.
For the band, their latest single “Love Fool” is just the next step towards discovering the perfect blend that compliments the up and comers.  Adding a mix of R&B and pop to their grimy instrumentals, Various Blonde along with engineer Adam McGill addresses the perplexing dichotomy of love.  As much as we cherish the warmness and security of sharing these feelings with others, it can also be rather cruel.
