Toledo-based CryFace has been slowly pulling the curtain away to showcase their upcoming release titled Smart Kids.  Being the largest departure from their garage rock rooted sound, CryFace’s latest effort is also the band’s most freeing since the project started in 2014.  Throughout the thirteen song, forty-five minute journey throughout Smart Kids, listeners will catch the subtle change in direction for the band, however still latch onto the similar vibes that have made CryFace what they are today.
Today, Ghettoblaster is happy to premiere the latest single off of Smart Kids “Lost In The Swell”.  The jangly, slow dance that the lyrics take along the funky guitar stabs has a Zeppelin-like feel from start to finish.  Singer Levi Makula channels Robert Smith with his oozy vocals and suave demeanor.
