Isaac Gillespie’s project Due Diligence has a new album dropping entitled Life Is Hard (Paper Garden Records) out 6/22/18. The album itself is self-professed”trash gospel,” which might be difficult for some to define in of itself. But what the band and the album do is brings big vocals, powerful percussion, and existentially resonant anthems. To quote from the group itself, New York Due Diligence is “spanning flavors from sixties proto-punk to gospel tent revival centered around the songwriting and live-wire antics of Isaac Gillespie.” This is truth.
Today, Due Diligence premieres the title track off of Life Is Hard, which is part fun times and part gritty reality.
