California may be suffering from having less water than the rest of the country but it’s not lacking in musical talent. The Bay Area’s Tyler Webb, known in Hip-Hop circles as One Werd, released a collection of 8 songs entitled Alive as part of the Fake Four label’s Freecember series. the release burgeoned with creativity and featured artists Sole (anticon), Ceschi Ramos, Sleep of Oldominion, Gajah (Acid Reign), Gaves 33 & Ersatz Splynter. Today he just released the new video for “Inner Truth,” one track off of the release.
Of “Inner Truth” One Werd says it “is an examination of what it means to stay rooted in the face of external pressures to change or conform. I’ve often felt discouraged by the pressure to fit within an easily marketable template in the music industry, and this song is a reminder to myself to fight back against the voices that would dissuade you from speaking your own Inner Truths.”
