Self-described as “psychedelic garage weirdo,” I don’t think Toronto, Canada’s Brenda could describe itself any better than that.  Little is known about the band but with “Children” they’re bound to make heads turn with whiplash effect. The song never moves faster than a mid-tempo pace, but there’s no need to. Thoroughly put through the ringer are the shifting dynamics of their tortured instruments to effectively catapulting them to create dense walls of sound. The band is set to release its latest E.P. Creeper in November. I can’t even imagine what this group has in store for listeners.
