SPORTS, the sometimes quartet/sometimes quintet basement rock band, started in 2012 at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, is back with a new single from their forthcoming sophomore album, All of Something. NPR Music chose “Get Bummed Out” as one of their Songs We Love, calling it an “irresistible pop-punk anthem—a personal portrait of an undefined relationship to which many of us can relate.” Listen to “Get Bummed Out” here: https://soundcloud.com/fatherdaughter/sports-get-bummed-out
The band, who all now live in various cities across the U.S., will reunite for one show in support of the new album. Catch them live Sunday, October 18 at the Father/Daughter + Miscreant Records’ CMJ Showcase at Palisades in Brooklyn, NY. More information here.
