Blis. is a four piece hailing from Atlanta with influences ranging from Weatherbox and Pedro The Lion to American Football. These influences are easy to see in their recorded material, which jumps back and forth from sad and gloomy songs with airy vocals, to math rock with grace and dignity.
The band played to a wall-to-wall crowd on the Heaven Stage at the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia, for the first ever Wrecking Ball Festival on August 8. The singer thanked the house for the stage towels and launched in to a high-spirited set, which included songs dedicated to his new baby and his ex-girlfriend (“This is for my ex-girlfriend. Fuck you!).
