This weekend’s inaugural Wrecking Ball, which takes place in Atlanta, Georgia August 8 and 9, brings together bands of several genres; punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, and emo bands for a two-day event that is likely to be unrivaled. From the Descendents, Failure, and Glassjaw to fresher blood such as Beach Slang and Blis., the Masquerade Music Park and all three of the venue’s indoor stages (Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory) host nearly 60 bands.
