Artist: ZooBombs
Song: Highway A Go Go
This is so unbelievably bizarre to me – I’m here listening to the ZooBombs’ new single “Highway A Go Go” and at the same time (by coincidence) I find myself looking at pictures of the tsunami aftermath in Japan. It is hard to not pay attention to what’s going on to the people of Japan right now. Listening to the ZooBombs is sending chills down my back as I am reminded of the integrity and uniqueness of the Japanese people
Have a taste of their new single here
“In case you’re not familiar, The Zoobombs have been putting albums out since 1994 their incendiary live performances quickly shot them to the top of Japan’s indie-rock scene resulting in opening gigs for The Flaming Lips and Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion. The digital release of their album La Vie En Jupon will be available March 29th, via The MuseBox’s record label MB3 (2nd artist to be signed since Röyksopp)”
And when you have a moment do what you can to help by sending donations to the Red Cross in support of tsunami relief here if you can’t donate send a prayer…
