Diarrhea Planet has been touring lately (read: non-stop), it’s hard to image them finding time to get into the studio. But you know what? They did it! On November 18, Diarrhea Planet will release Aliens in the Outfield as a follow-up to their critically acclaimed album I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams. The EP features a reworked version of their Adult Swim 2014 Singles Series contribution “Spooners,” live favorite and crowd-surfing tribute “Heat Wave,” and three more brand spankin’ new songs in anticipation of their upcoming 2015 album.
Recorded by Justin Francis (Anti-Flag, Mac DeMarco, Kenny Rogers) and mixed by Grammy award-winning engineer Vance Powell (Jack White, PUJOL, Beck), Aliens in the Outfield will be pressed on 10″ vinyl and limited to 1000 copies (800 randomly colored vinyl and 200 translucent blue records).  The EP drops digitally November 18 via Infinity Cat Recordings, with vinyl following-up on November 25.
