The New York City duo Jack and Eliza will release their debut EP No Wonders later this summer via Yebo Music on 10-inch vinyl and digitally through iTunes. The No Wonders EP was produced by Chris Zane (The Walkmen, Mumford & Sons, Passion Pit) and is suffuse with the effortlessness of youth, captured in ephemeral moments through a melodious and sun-drenched pop sound with a high lonesome lilt. The first song released from the EP, “Hold The Line”, is available now on iTunes and can be streamed below on SoundCloud.

Growing up in NYC as childhood friends, and now musical collaborators, Jack and Eliza have a beyond-their-years sensibility that belies their relatively young age. Eliza first showcased this talent publicly when she became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest “Song of The Year” award at just 15 in 2011. When she and Jack began writing together the results were serendipitous, each amplifying the strengths and creativity of the other. On No Wonders, Their voices coalesce into a sparse landscape of melancholy memories, narrating a bittersweet nostalgia built on radiant layers of sound.
This summer the pair will play dates in support of the forthcoming EP as they continue to write and record material for a future full-length release.
