Philadelphia based producer RJD2 releases his fifth full-length LP, More Is Than Isn’t, on October 8 via his own RJ’s Electrical Connections. A culmination of 15 years as both a producer and composer, More Is Than Isn’t shows RJ incorporating new production techniques and capturing a more expansive dynamic range than ever before while still maintaining the basic aesthetic that has always driven him – soulful, melodic, beat-oriented music. After sharing the album’s first single, the jazz-tinged, beat-driven “Her Majesty’s Socialist Request,” (check out his recent interview about the song’s genesis on MTV Hive), RJ now shares the “Candy Panther feat. J-Live Remix.”
