The Top 10 Ways to Make Our Voices Heard In 2018

So many artists made incredible records in 2017. As we were attempting to document our favorites, the backdrop against which this music was released continues to be at the forefront of our minds. It is not to say the music was not important, it is more essential now than ever. The reality, however, is that since last January there has been a serial dissembling of the progress we have made as a society over the past several decades. It has left us heartbroken, angry, afraid and vulnerable. But even now, we are reminded there are others who seek positive and peaceful solutions to this regression. And so as we close out this year, we felt it fitting to compile our top 10 ways to make our voices heard in 2018. This is not an exhaustive list by any means, and we encourage others to build on it and offer your suggestions. Let’s pick each other up, remember to be kind, come together, and do this…
