Video Power: Sonya Cotton: “Hunters”
It’s a great video, I swear.
We don’t have any great exclusive deals with labels or bands or the capacity to host our own video service here at Ghettoblaster, but we sure do have access to the embed codes from everywhere else!
Orrrr… in this case, we don’t have an embed code. You’ll have to go to Blurt to see it. But Ms. Cotton was great enough to give us her answers for this month’s Stomping Grounds, so here’s a chance to hear a song from her gorgeous new album, Red River.
Go watch it!

Sonya Cotton took an exodus west after her personal relationships deteriorated. When she landed in San Francisco, she wrote an amazing batch of folk songs based on a series of strange dreams about a red river rising out of her living room. With her album, Red River, self-realeased this fall, Ghettoblaster got in touch with her and asked her about her new hometown.
