Charles Bradley just released the video for “Ain’t It A Sin,” the latest single from new album Changes, directed by Poull Brien. Brien also directed the 2012 documentary Charles Bradley: Soul of America and the video for his breakthrough 2010 single “The World (Is Going Up In Flames)” and, in the “Ain’t It A Sin” video, shows us Bradley at his most comfortable—performing. Watch the video now:

Changes came out last Friday, April 1 on Daptone Records imprint Dunham Records, and received wide praise (see below). Bradley is currently bringing his riveting live show to stages across the globe. His North American headline tour starts April 23 at New York’s Beacon Theatre, and includes shows at Los Angeles’ The Theater at the Ace & more. You can get a taste of the energy and passion he delivers during his memorable live shows via NPR Music, who has posted several videos from his SXSW performance at their showcase last month: http://n.pr/25diGOv

The Budos Band and SingleCut Beer have teamed up to create a beer celebrating the band’s newest record, Burnt Offering. The beer, also named Burnt Offering, is a riff on SingleCut’s John Michael Dark Lyric Lagrrr!, a dark lager with the flavors of chocolate and light roast coffee. Inspired by the murky mood of Budos Band’s upcoming record as well as past album covers featuring scorpions, snakes, and fire, Burnt Offering features the addition of char-roasted jalapeños to add a nasal-tickling brightness and sweetness to the aroma and the flavor.

The beer will be available at select bars in Williamsburg this Saturday as part of a bar crawl with the band. The crawl features stops at band favorites The Anchored Inn, The Drink, Spuyten Duyvil, Barcade, and Harefield Road. An RSVP with more information on the bar crawl can be found here.  Burnt Offering will also be available in SingleCut’s Tap Room at their Astoria brewery.

The Budos Band will release their fourth album, Burnt Offering, on October 21 via Daptone Records. The album sees Budos pushing further into darker, heavier, and more psychedelic territory than ever before. Burnt Offering is now streaming in advance via Spotify and can be pre-ordered via iTunes.
