Phoenix, AZ – Breaking new ground in the desert heat is Bag Of Tricks Cat, an artist that has slowly and not-so-quietly been building momentum.  While he’s released a slew tracks the last few years in the form of a handful of E.P.s, “For The Culture (feat. Henny Flatz)” is the first single off of his first full-length album Cat’s Out The Bag.  The album also marks the first full-length release for the Respect The Underground imprint. If this track is any indication, the southwest just isn’t going to be the same ever again.

Coming off of his brief tour with Mega Ran in support of the Emerald Knights collaboration, it seems the Bag Of Tricks Cat, kindly referred to as Felix, continues his steady stream of output. It’s all leading up to his next album releasing in 2016.

But just in time for Halloween, the dark and twisted “Never Sober” pays homage to horror movies and all things ghoulishly themed with it’s darkly edged plot. Along for the ride are Justus of Cutthroat Logic and Bizarre of D12 who make the video just as crazed as their lyrical twists. Watch the video here

The “teacher/rapper/hero” known as Mega Ran is returning to the UK for his fourth time, but on a twofold mission. The artist formerly known as Random is performing at least four shows throughout the United Kingdom, and is also recording for his next solo album, tentatively titled RNDM. So far the album contains contributions from Joell Ortiz, MURS, Kool Keith, Homeboy Sandman and more.

Joining Ran on this tour are fellow Phoenix artists Bag of Tricks Cat, and DJ Unknown.
