Dogbreth have shared “Cups & Wrappers,” the lead single from their upcoming album, Second Home. Second Home is available for pre-order now and out August 5 on Asian Man Records.

Dogbreth is the Western USA’s only power-pop band with a name nodding to Megadeth and a history of angelic DIY punk spirit. Songwriter and guitar genius Tristan Jemsek has been bringing the passionate arena-rock basement to basement with a revolving band of likeminded rippers for years. 2013’s Plan-It-X release Sentimental Health shook the underground, with its honesty, energy, and kindness; A genuine slam-dunk. On their new album Second Home, (recorded by longtime friend and mentor Jalipaz Nelson at Audioconfusion) Dogbreth breaks the backboard with guitar solos on every song and choruses that demand shouting along. Dogbreth features Tyler Broderick on second Guitar, Cesar Ruiz on third guitar, Erin Caldwell on Bass/Vocals and Liam James Murtagh on drums.

Fuse is streaming the forthcoming full-length Party Adjacent, from Dan Andriano’s solo project, Dan Andriano In the Emergency Room today.  The record, which is the second-full length from Dan Andriano In the Emergency Room is due out via Asian Man Records and Xtra Mile Recordings on July 17, 2015. Pre-order for Party Adjacent is now available via Asian Man Records.

Listen to Party Adjacent

Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room will embark on a co-headlining tour with Jeff Rosenstock this summer, kicking off July 28 in Baltimore (all tour dates below). The two musicians recently teamed up to have Jeff, formerly of Bomb the Music Industry, produce Party Adjacent. Andriano is also joined by a backing band of Jeff, Kevin Higuchi of The Jeff Rosenstock Band and Mike Huguenor of Hard Girls on Party Adjacent to fantastic effect.  With influences ranging from Thin Lizzy to Elvis Costello to Billy Bragg, Party Adjacent is obviously one of those rare records that is built by an artist’s singular vision and augmented by exactly the right collaborative team.

“The Emergency Room started as something for me to do with songs I had been writing that didn’t seem to have a place on Alkaline Trio records,” explains Andriano.  Started when he found himself living in Florida, he released his debut full-length Hurricane Season on Asian Man in 2011 and toured troubadour-style around the release with just an acoustic guitar on the US and European legs of the Revival Tour. Party Adjacent marks the beginning of a new chapter to the Emergency Room story.

Bespectacled Chicago trio Pet Symmetry have unveiled a new song from their forthcoming debut album Pets Hounds, out May 19 via Asian Man Records. “Class Action Force (Useless Tools)” was debuted today on Stereogum, and is available to stream on SoundCloud.

Pulling members from Dowsing, Kittyhawk, Mountains for Clouds, and Into It. Over It; Pet Symmetry is a gleefully spontaneous and unrestrained outlet for good friends Erik Czaja (Guitar), Marcus Nuccio (Drums), and Evan Weiss (Lead Vocals, Bass) to scratch their itchy power pop impulses. Pets Hounds is available for pre-order now at the Asian Man Records store (http://asianmanrecords.storenvy.com).

The majority of Pets Hounds was recorded in late 2013 with engineer Mark Michalik who has worked often with Weiss in the past. It took another year before they had time to put the finishing touches on the album, adding vocals and guitar before mixing and mastering this winter. The end result is emblematic of the heights a band can reach when they just kick back, plug in, and go with what comes to them. No second guessing. Just fun.

New Orleans, Louisiana’s All People have announced their second full length album, Learn Forget Repeat, due out May 5 on vinyl and digital from Community Records in partnership with Asian Man Records, as well as a limited cassette release from Broken World Media.  To celebrate the announcement AbsolutePunk has premiered a new song from the album, the driving “Doubt.”   Learn Forget Repeatis now available for preorder from Asian Man Records and Community Records.  The band has also announced an extensive run of U.S. tour dates through out March and April, including appearances at SXSW, Bufu Records Fest, and Broken World Media Fest.
