Wasted Blood ready debut for Escapist Records

Escapist Records announced the release of the debut full-length from Ashtabula, Ohio’s Wasted Blood.  Formed in 2011, the five-piece hardcore/metal outfit has built a growing fanbase with determined minds, DIY ethic (two self-released recordings), and relentless touring throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and South including shows alongside today’s best and brightest: Code Orange, Expire, Twitching Tongues, Homewrecker, to name a few.
Recorded by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios (Harms Way, Weekend Nachos, True Love) and mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering (Cloakroom, Discourse, Mindset), the nine-track Void will see a 12” LP/Digital worldwide release late this summer via Escapist Records. The album will also see a cassette release by Toxicbreed’s Funhouse, on CD through Black Void Records, and a limited-vinyl release in Indonesia on Heartcorner Records.
Wasted Blood is currently booking a tour leading up to the release of Void as well as others to support following its release.  Additionally, the band will be taking part in Escapist Records ten-year anniversary showcase at The Foundry on August 14 in Lakewood, OH.
Two un-mastered songs from the recording can currently be streamed online:
