Lil Dicky releases Professional Rapper

Hip Hip sensation Lil Dicky has scored the #1 ALBUM ON ITUNES with the release of his debut LP, Professional Rapper today. The Philly native has also premiered his video for the album’s title track, which features legendary Snoop Dogg, on Billboard.com.
The animated vignette tells the story of advertising executive/comedian, David Burd’s (aka, Lil Dicky’s) journey into discovering who he really is at heart – a “professional rapper.” Lil Dicky explains to Billboard.com, “Coming out of corporate America, every move I made involved a job interview. So if my next job is being a rapper, I thought it would be super cool to start the album out with a job interview. And who better to be interviewing me for the position than the legendary Snoop Dogg.”
Following the buzzworthy premiere of his single “$ave Dat Money” – which features two of the hottest rappers in the game, Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan – and after officially impacting radio in mid-July, Lil Dicky has already become a Top 5 Shazam artist in early airplay markets…a spot that’s typically reserved for the Taylor Swift’s and Ariana Grande’s of the world. The song has also spiked to #4 on Spotify’s global Top Viral Hits chart.
Professional Rapper features the aforementioned tracks, as well as previously released cuts “Lemme Freak,” “White Crime,” and “Classic Male Pregame,” and 11 additional tracks with featured guests including Fetty Wap, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Rich Homie Quan, Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, Hannibal Buress, Jace from Two-9, and Brain. Professional Rapper is available now on iTunes.
