Justus Proffit shares video for "Saturday"

On December 22, Los Angeles, California-based noise/fuzz-punk artist Justus Proffit released his latest EP, Magic. For the uninitiated, Justus Proffit toys with electronic sounds, dreamy melodies and harmonies to create the sonic background for his lyrically heavy material. His subject matter focuses on the human condition; with songs often referencing depression, self-knowledge, and overcoming struggles.
Inspired by ’90s punk and indie rock, the guitar and drums sound dissonant, while Proffit’s vocal melodies remain dreamy, catchy and thoughtful. In all Justus Proffit’s music is inventively sentimental and unafraid; driven by personal struggles and contemplation, his songs seem to reassure himself of his own motives.
