Harlem’s own Black Rob has announced an NYC album release party for April 21. Celebrating the release of his new album, Genuine Article Rob will take over The Delancey (168 Delancey Street) on that night.
In addition to the album being played in its entirety, Tony Touch (Shade 45) will be the official DJ for the event. Special announced guests attending include Genuine Article collaborators Sean Price, Tek (Smif-n-Wessun) and Easy Mo Bee as well as Steele (Smif-n-Wessun), Sadat X and Lil Cease. Two singles from the album leaked thus far (“Welcome To My Life” and “Wave Of New York”) and has re-ignited Rob-mania with fans of his gritty flow. Currently on the interview circuit, Black Rob will be appearing/has appeared on such programs in April as Sway In The Morning, Power 105, Rap Is Outta Control, Combat Jack, This is 50 and Toca Tuesdays.
