Video Premiere: Connections, "Beat The Sky"
After ripping onto the music scene in 2013 with two full length LP’s
(album of the year by Still Single, glowing coverage from Pitchfork,
Stereogum, Onion AV Club, etc…), one EP, several singles, and tours
with The Breeders and Ex Hex, the band will release Into Sixes this August
a muscle flexing study that displays the true anthem-driven nature of the band. Connections’ prowess lies in the head-spinning gift for melody, fortified by a backbone of wiry guitars that are as tight and loose as a well-worn sweatsuit from Wal-Mart.
Their pedigree includes a legacy of performing with 84 Nash, El Jesus de Magico and Times New Viking, a combination of expertise and experience that comes to fruition here.
